WHAT IS INVOLVED IN QLD GIRLS IN PROPERTY?
The 2018 Queensland Girls in Property program was held on Thursday 23 August involving over 40, Year 10 and Year 11 girls from MacGregor State High School and The Gap State High School. The program was delivered across a full day at West Village with a focus on students understanding the tangible opportunities of the property industry through a project-based learning model. The day included a behind the scene site tour of Sekisui’s House project, West Village; interactive panel session and opportunity to work on a real-life project with industry facilitators. The model highlighted the variety of careers available in the industry by providing the opportunity for the girls to listen, learn and interact with industry members across a range of roles and levels.
